The challenge
Understanding entrepreneurial activity in Germany requires continuous, large-scale, and methodologically robust data collection. The client needed reliable data on start-up activity and entrepreneurial dynamics, insights into both actual founders and latent potential entrepreneurs, and a large representative sample to capture a relatively rare population while maintaining statistical reliability and comparability over time. Entrepreneurship research is particularly challenging due to the need to identify and screen rare target groups within the general population.
The outcome
Telquest delivers end-to-end high-volume CATI fieldwork with a strong focus on efficiency and data quality — a large-scale telephone survey across the German population with a careful screening process to identify relevant target groups, and efficient handling of short and longer interview modules within one study. Continuous monitoring of sample structure, interview quality, and field progress ensures the reliable execution of this complex, multi-layered design.
